 I have learned that in order to have sound research under your belt, you need to pick a knowledgeable topic that could still have room to grow. One of the more difficult parts of this process was trying to identify research gaps, so if you're able to think of a topic that comes with gaps included, that will be easier for you to build your own research off of. I also really liked doing the literature review because I've never fully so thoroughly examined my sources and seen how they would hinder or add to what I've written. This will be something I keep in mind when doing regular papers going forward.  These processes have helped me realize that in my future career and role, I need to be attentive to detail, and precise in the activities that I will be doing. If I had merely skimped over some of the details for certain aspects, I wouldn't be as prepared for the future assignments we had to do.
